Berniece Orvetta (DeNune) Tibbitts age 92, born June 26, 1913; passed away Dec. 26, 2005.

Survived by son Michael Tibbitts; grandchildren, John Bradley Tibbitts, Matthew Deane Tibbitts and Stacey Lynn Tibbitts; great-grandchildren Althea and Eric Tibbitts, Cassey and Magen Griffen.

Berniece was born in Idaho and moved to Washington State as a young child. Married to John Rainey Tibbitts, had two sons, John Deane (deceased 2003) and Michael Neil.

Her husband John was employed as a longshoreman in Tacoma most of his life. Berniece, during World War II worked at Boeing as one of the now infamous "Rosie the Riveters" on the B-17 Bomber.

Her grade and high schools were in Kapowsin & Roy. She has lived in Spanaway the last 45 years. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
