Biography
Darene Thrasher Gillett, 61, former Colfax and Potlatch resident, died Feb. 11 of cancer at the Port Orchard (Wash) Care Center.
She was born Oct. 30, 1933, to Donald and Maude Thrasher, at Colfax. She graduated from Potlatch High School in 1951.
She is survived by her husband James; a son, Donald Gillett of Long Beach, Calif,; a daughter, Rhonda Standish of Bremerton, Wash,; two sisters Pauline Vos and Nadine Doherty, both of California; and five grandchildren.
