Biography
Acquired from his Uncle Donald Campbell, aka Denune; the abbot's lands and barony of Catbole in Ross-shire in 1534, which became the chief title of his family. He lived in the reigns of King James IV, and V, and died early in the reign of Queen Mary (late 1542, early 1543).
